EVN Department of Event Management
EVM provides training on the organization and running of musical events including concerts, festivals, competitions, operas, fanfares, military and para-military as well as civilian, religious, cultural and community events. EVM studies events in terms of business and economy, its effects on the individual, the community and the nation at large. To fully equip our cadets, we further drill them on methods of event analysis,
expansion and extension to other locations and accompanying benefits. For a period of 24 months (4 semesters in 2 years) trainees shall be introduced to music theory, event management concepts and related literatures including analytical and journalistic principles; public speaking; modern public address systems technologies and software applications. Trainees shall also be taught and drilled on the use of Music Software Applications, the digital economy and Cultural entrepreneurship to cultivate industrial musicianship.
